Sergei Sologub was born in 1957 in Kirovograd, Russia. He graduated from Russian State Cinema Institute (VGIK), Design Production Department. In 1997-1991 Sergei Sologub worked as a designer of production at the Sverdlovsk Movie Studio. The artist is resident of Cologne, Germany since 1991.

He has participated in many group exhibitions and one-man shows around the world. In 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 his paintings won a privilege to participate in an Annual Exhibition of Cologne Museums "Lange Museum Nacht", Germany.

Each of Sergei Sologub paintings has a mysterious question, it is not a dream, rather a reality of the modern world. It's no doubt, Sergei Sologub is brightly represented in the Art of Imagination of XXI century.
